Review Detail

I absolutely LOVE this anime! The plotline is so full of tension and the characters so vivid it is amazing. The art is very sharp and sometimes I kept swearing that some of the landscape scene's were pictures! Takaya is a great main character, though I think his mood swings are worse than a girl's sometimes! O.O Naoe is kinda a sad figure, as far as I see. A lot may not agree with the thing's he does in this series, but he is by far my favorite character, if only because his emotions for Takaya are so very vivid and real. The romance between Haruie and Araki is just kinda bittersweet. T_T It has a lot of supernatural overtones (reincarnation, for one) and the pace of the series is very fast and keeps you caught up in it with the characters. Even when they are just standing around talking, you know if you blink, you are going to miss something important. Another cool thing about this anime is that while being set in current times, it has a lot of historical background behind it. You learn a lot about feudal Japan. Overall, I think this series is excellent and I would recommend it every time.
