First of all, the anime is far from the absolutely GREAT manga! I was expecting so much from it, and maybe it was beacause of that I got so disappointed.. But before I go on with the bad stuff about this one, I have to admit that it's still very good and worth seeing. I love all the characters and the plot is really good. Althougt everything happens pretty fast it's easy to understand. The art is really bad (sorry, it's true!) I hate it! Yuki was so beautiful in the manga.. Now he's just boring. And they cut out to late or early all the time. It really makes the whole thing rather slow sometimes.

After all, this was the first anime I saw! So of course it means alot to me because of that. If I had not read the manga I would have rated this only 3. I'm still madly in love with the manga, i can't let it go.. So it affects me when I see the anime.. I wish i had seen this one first to give a more honest review..
The music's great btw :)

Gravitation is a very awesome starter BL anime. Shuichi and Yuki are mae for each other, and Maki Murakami is a genius! Not to mention, there's lots of room for experiments with other characters. It never fails to suprise when I find someone who doesn't like Gravitation. I actually used this series to hook most of my friends on shounen-ai and yaoi. We all love it now. Gravitation is one of my favorites. The OVAs are even good! I can't wait until I get my hands on Gravitation EX!!! I agree with ExoticChocolat when he/she says that the manga is better, but if you can't get your hands on that, the anime is excellent! I just love everything about Gravitation. Because it's SHINY NO DA!!! But it also has a bit of serious tone to it as well. And that just adds to the awesomeness. ^^

x3

The very first BL anime I watched!! Although I love this anime dearly, I have to say...

The manga is wayyyyyyy better! The anime goes way too fast and nothing seems to build up.

Even with these flaws its still one of my favorites. Music counts alot in my book. Heck I have all the Gravitation Tracks (OP and insert songs...) on my iPod!

This anime will always have a soft spot for me. for starting fans of BL, I definetely recommend Gravitation. =]

I have to say, this series was very disappointing. The character designs are pretty, there is some sort of plot and an ok back story on the characters, but the characters themselves are annoying. Any love I might have felt for the plot was skewered and killed once Shuichi arrived on screen and started talking, he is annoying and needy, a character without substance, and because this happens to also be the main character, it kills the show.

I read so much about that anime! Indeed it is fun to watch, especially at the beginning (first 4 eps). It gets into deeper stuff after and to me, it looses its fresh humor somehow. Also : I am not a sexually charged scene maniac but it always bugged me how they cut short those romantic moments, especially since they have a guy like Yuuri
Eiri (one day he treats Shuichi well, the next he throws him out). Anyway overall its probably the best yaoi anime i've seen (yes, better than Gakuen Heaven and Sukisyo), but I can't believe it is the best ever so I'll keep looking...

I could'nt resist writeing a review on this anime, The story line is great and beautifull, this is the only anime I have ever cryed watching. The art is not the best, but it is adorible in it's own way.The story line is what makes this a fantastic anime,to any one who wants to laugh tell it hurts. There is an adorible gay love in this story between Yuki Eiri, and Shuichi Shindou.Pretty much Shuichi Shindou is an adorable uke who crys too much, and puts on cute puppy suits and stuff when he gets in the mood, while Yuki Eiri is a rude uncareing man,so they lead you to think.Through all of Shuichis' silly costumes, his frequent crying, and his ability to ignore all the mean stuff Yuki says,he somehow manages to worm his way into Yukis' heart.(and bedroom for that matter).Last but not least, the music. The music is awesome, the band Shuichi is in,is called Bad Luck. They sing this song called Wanton Wind,it is so beautifull,I usualy can't stand songs in others laungages, but I can sing this one from memory. Here is my score for Gravitation (10 being the highest).Art I give 8, Story I give 10, and music I also give 10. All in all ,this anime I recomend dearly.
