With each episode running at only 5 minutes each it can sometimes be a little... irritating to watch unless you have it all stringed together. The story is lacking but of no fault of it's own, theres a lot of story to tell but it's clar that the problem was lack of support of teh project and little funding. But despite that the animation wasn't half bad and I could follow teh story. I especially enjoyed how the main Vampire Duo was portrayed, very elegant and noble. The story is a tragity in both the main story and the fact thtat this anime was hardly justified when it was made. I think it could have been very good if it was doen properly.

Hopes for a remake!

The plot was intresting, although not the most original. I was disappointed at the fact that each episode was only 5 minutes long. It wasn't a cvery flowing anime either, the graphics were half- decent I guess, however the characters barely had any emotion or movemnent. Duo was too feminine for me.

Only watch this if you really have no other option.

Well, Legend of Duo caught my eye is looking *potentially* interesting, and it does undeniably have decent artwork in the main characters and their unique clothing especially, but aside from that, this anime has absolutely nothing going for it. First of all, each of the 12 "episodes" more like trailers, or minisodes, are only 5 minutes long. This is particularly annoying since the first 20 seconds or so is filled with the title and proves to be quite distracting. In addition, the story is very erratic and really has no sense of continuity as it jumps between flashbacks, and the main plot, without any decent animation. It attempts to provide a few heart warming scenes involving the main characters, but the cheesy conversations and lack of character development makes it hard to be very interested. Overall, this anime just lacks substance and feels more like a series of still shots. It has a unique style, but it's not presented well.

The Legend of Duo is pretty nice, yet extremely short. The episodes are around 5 Minutes, in my option, far to short.

The animation itself and the Characters look great, the story isn't new, but worth watching.

All in all, a nice Anime, that you can watch, but you don't miss something if you don't.

This is an anime which I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. The lead roles, Duo and Zeig, are both very likeable, and although the BL content is rather low, there is enough depth to their relationship to keep the shounen-ai fan watching. We can assume that the relationships between characters would have developed however there was a low budget and the ending was wrapped up hastily.

For fans of gothic horror this is a must-see. There are vampires, but there is pleasant twist, in that humans are out to kill them. This is because humans are dropping dead left, right and center. They have lost their 'purana' which keeps them alive, so they set out to kill vampires and take theirs.

The only criticism I have to make is towards the end. My interest was kept all the way through 'til episode twelve, where the anime is simply left on cliff-hanger. However, it is not too disappointing, judging by the low budget they could've made the ending a lot worse. Overall, Legend of Duo ranks highly on my list of favourite shounen-ai anime, and I would recommend it to those who are looking for something with a nicely developed plot and characters.
