A major theme in this manga is how a person's archery reflects their character. The three main characters are very serious about it, and throughout the manga, the reader will actually see how the skill of Tsukasa changes with his emotions. Another thing that is a bit different about this manga is that the teacher, Haru, actually takes on an uke role instead of a seme role with the student Tsukasa acting as seme. There are two things that I think make this manga worth reading. The first is the beautiful, very clean art style. The second is Tsukasa. His emotions are so beautifully conveyed and pull at your heartstrings. I adore how much Tsukasa loves Haru, and the inner turmoil he has to go through while his brother stands between them. My only regret is that Tsukasa's brother did not exactly have a very happy ending, and he was never really a bad guy. Other than that, it was a good manga.

For only one volume, this story was incredibly complete and had beautiful flow to it. The translation seemed very well done because nothing was awkward in the story at all while reading it. The characters were very loveable, with Raku being a bit clueless about the role of a prince, but always doing his best to help people anyway, making everything work in the end, and Dyun being so faithful, yet so emotionless, it's hard to tell his true character until the end, making the plot work VERY well. All though some may doubt the design chosen for the first "bad guy" introduced, I think it works in the end, and I love how the character actually helped pull things together to end the story. And I never thought a bunch of old "grandpas" could be cute, but... well, it just has to be seen in the manga for one to understand. The story itself had a great plot, and was able to pull out a bunch of emotions from the reader at the same time. The best way I can describe it is that it completely melted my heart. And to make this story even better, the art was absolutely beautiful and consistent, which is always a major plus for a manga.

This is a story that grows surprisingly addictive surprisingly fast, and everything about it is truly awesome. The two main characters are ones readers will fall in love with. Masaki is the seme who acts slightly cold towards Hiroya in the beginning, but quickly grows to loving him to the extreme and constantly trying to win his heart. Hiroya is VERY naive, and he has readers going crazy by continually pushing Masaki away, only wanting to be "friends" and afraid of being a "fag". It's true when it's said that serious issues are addressed in this book. While the ending is a happy one, tears will be falling along the way. The translating seems very nicely done; the story has a nice flow, and the plot rocks with never a dull moment. The characters are amazing, and the relationships between them really bring them to life. Besides Masaki and Hiroya, I LOVE Masaki's brother. He's an awesome, sexy character who's all too easy to fall in love with. And then of course, you have to love the man who's in love with Masaki's brother, despite the fact that he's actually made out to be a bit of an antogonist in the story. I definately have to see what ends up happening in that relationship in Halfmoon Emotion. Anyways, I HIGHLY reccomend this series if you're looking for a story with a lot of depth and an addictive storyline and characters.
