Personally, I very much like this anime, but the manga is also just as good because it's more on the 'complete' side. The anime only have 2 long episodes but it holds just about everything you need to know about the story and it's plot (or if you can actually 'see' it). The anime don't contain hard yaoi but the manga implies yaoi/boy love.
I liked it right away because Subaru is such a girl (when he's not) :D and then where is Seishirou, the man with two sides. This is great show with a bit of a sequel in X the T.V. show. But if you don't want to be lost in the dark at the end, I'd recommend that you read the manga. At least the manga can provide enough of an ending for you to be satisfied.
Anyways, I think you'd enough this along with X the T.V. as well as reading the manga.

This is something that I'd like to say, 'original'. For me, I've never seen an anime like this. It's got some twists and can leave people disturbed-though I'm fine with it-and just stop when the line '... in love with my FATHER' appears in the summary.
Anyhow, I like this OAV, because it's yaoi and it's got something good with it. I'd say you should watch it if you like a cute uke, with a beautiful and playful man and a twisted, yet interesting plot.

Okay, to be completely honest, I was upset at how the whole OAV ended. If they had not jump all over the place and keep going with the show, sending thorough or at the least a better understanding of the plot of the means of this Anime then it'll be in my good books.
When I heard about this game, I wanted to play it because well, my friends said it's worth it. When I heard about the anime, I got excited and really wanted to see it because I couldn't get the game. I thought it'll be much better than the game because, c'mon face it, you don't have to go through all the trouble to making mistakes and going through the whole game. But the anime disappointed me quietly badly.
The first episode was something to except, since a lot of fantasy anime get the to point by the first few episodes. But the second episode just killed my happy mood.
Though, besides that, I must say the graphic was good and so was the first episode.
From what my friends have told me, I think you'll be better off playing the game and ignoring the anime.
