Fake

I loved this series and I regret not having it on my shelf.

I read it a few times, but those times, I didn't quite get used to adult themed yaoi, and I wasn't so used to the art style yet. The last and final time though, I read it all the way through.

The artwork may seem to be eyetwitching, but as you read it, you get used to the artwork. It's old, but it's still classy.

The characters are enjoyable and fun. As the series progress through, the characters develop and grow with each other, especially our star couple, Ryo and Dee.

What I like about the series is that it's based in a different setting, like the office building, and it depends on where the case takes place, like an alley, boat on a lake, etc. It's different from the typical high school setting.

The plot is great. It deals with Ryo's past, and it starts to bloom from where it starts. Romance becomes part of the plot, and it's amazing how the characters revolve around it.

This series is great for anyone wants to try something different with adults.

Tokyo Babylon

I like this OVA. The animation may be old, but it's classic.

The OVA has only 2 episodes, but it's enough to tell what is partially going on with the Sumeragi twins and Seishirou as they live their daily life in the city of Tokyo. Subaru Sumeragi is the 13th head of the Sumeragi clan, and he is a high level skilled exorcist. His older twin sister, Hokuto, keeps things in check with him. Seishirou is a vet, yet he has an air of mystery to him.

The OVA takes in two cases that deals with mysterious murders. Subaru gets involved with them, and he has neared death a few times. He was saved by Seishirou. In the last episode, a mysterious past creeps on Subaru, and it's a haunting memory as well.

I would rate higher, but this OVA seems to leave things unturned for the most part. It's not bad to have a cliffhanger, but it makes the viewer think, "what happens now?"

Hetalia: Axis Powers

One of the best kid anime series that I have watched. This anime, Hetalia: Axis Powers, is very humorous, random, and dramatic. I love each of the characters, and I find myself laughing and thinking, "what the heck happened?"

Just a short summary: The anime features the characters that represent each of their country and/or nation. The setting is around World War 2, and the time line goes far back as the Great Roman Empire times. It's a fun series to watch, and I would say it's better than your average history classes being taught by some of your best or worse teachers. Don't take the racism part so hard since this anime is meant to be fun and enjoyable to watch.

I only rate 4 stars since the anime is still incomplete. So why rate it early? Plus, the series is based on comic strips, which is incomplete.

The artwork is very unique. The choice of colors are great and it's not so irritating and bright for the viewer to watch on the television screen or computer. For the most part, the characters are such a distraction that the background is hardly focused. Each episode is nicely made with humor.

The voice acting is decent and great, giving the character their personality and character.

All in all, this anime is great to watch if you have a bad day, in a bad mood, or just wanting to watch to entertain yourself with.

Little side note: for a kids' anime, it has it's light shounen-ai moments.
