Excellent
The art is simple but befitting. The male characters actually look like males and not cute, flat-chested girls. Some of the expressions the mangaka draws really break your heart.
Both main characters are likeable. The characters are believable and their personalities complement each other well, both in the present and in the flashbacks. Their change in personality from the past to the present is especially refreshing and adds a little kick to the story as a whole.
The plot was carefully planned. Everything is wrapped up in one volume. The pacing is perfect. It never feels too rushed or boring. The beauty of this story is that there aren't any useless or distracting fillers. Each chapter serves a purpose and there is nothing too farfetched.
If you are looking for an exciting slice-of-life manga, don't pass this one up. Overall, this is one of my favourite manga. 5/5
