First shonen-ai

this was my first shonen-ai i ever watched and will forever be number one in my heart. This is what really introduced me into the shonen ai and yaoi world. Now since seeing this and many others I have managed to collect all of the manga to this series, though still waiting to see if any more of the Gravitation EX will be released to buy. I would say this is a great starter shonen ai for any one who is just starting out. It's like watching things like InuYasha or Naruto when you are a newbie to anime. It's one of the easier ones to find. This anime is not the least explicit and is very comedy. With Shuichi being the naive teenager who falls head over heels for the jerk, big hit romance novelist, Yuki. With the anime is starts out with Shuichi and Hiro already with their manager and have formed Bad Luck, and looking to make their debut. Both are already out of high school, while in the manga it starts out with them just getting ready to graduate High school and trying to find their break. If you're an avid anime watcher and don't read manga as much than I recommend watching Gravitation. It's a good watch and you'll get a lot of laughs with how ridiculous and far Shuichi will go to be with Yuki. There is some dark times that do take place in this that include our two main characters. Yuki deals with a dark past while Shuichi deals with some horrible events that happen to him because of his fame and relationship with Yuki.
A good watch. :)

Another favourite of mine

Now I will try and write this with disregarding the manga.
Loved this series, saw the anime before i ever read the manga and fell in love with it. Particularly the art work. It was different and refreshing to see. Though I would have liked the anime to be a big more yaoi/ shonen-ai like the manga I still like it. It's nice that for once there is more than two OVAs for a series, as this one has 4 all together. Though it is mainly shonen-ai (like Gauken Heaven or kind of like how Decedents of Darkness is) it still fuels the shonen-ai/ yaoi fan girl needs. My favourite character in this is Chihaya, I feel like the anime doesn't give him as much credit as the manga does though, he's a mighty strong character who is determined in what he believes in and does what he thinks is best for the people around him and himself. A must watch for the people who like light shonen-ai with a bit of fluff and having one of our main characters needing to be rescued.

great series, sad ending

One of my favourite yaoi series. This was one of my first yaoi's I ever watched. First time watching it I was a bit confused as to what was happening in it. I remember asking my girlfriend at the end what happened. We ended up watching it again I finally realized what was happening. It's a dark series though it's not so hardcore like some yaois that are floating around. Very interesting in the setting that was made for it, futuristic in many senses but so far back in other ways. Loved that Rikki had finally started to fall in love with Iason which made the end that much more tragic. If you like the slave-master type of relationship this is definitely a must watch for you. It's also nice if you enjoy a more realistic love, where the main character doesn't automatically fall in love with the secondary character within in instant. I find I always like series like that much more, perhaps because it's easier to relate to in some ways.
I highly recommend watching this if you're a big yaoi fan if you haven't already. Still on my top 5 favourite yaois.
