another teacherxstudent story? why not, i'm a sucker for those =D



the art might not be everyone's taste. but i personally think it's neatly drawn and have an unique style. the mangaka managed to deliver what she meant by 'absolutely-adorable-attracting-men-uke' and 'drop-dead-gorgeous-seme-everyone-would-sleep-with'. the smiles are beautiful. and the way she draw the uke's body? oh you'll drool and squee.



it was very interesting to read the change in their characters. how the attractions began to build little by little. and the omake is very hilarious, because the seme is no longer the cold-indifferent person.



the uke is also one of my fav types: bullied one. he's strong, yes, but that only makes you want to protect him more, especially when he have this certain type of family -left by his mother, living only with his sick grandmother. and uniquely, he's bullied by FEMALES, because he attracts men (though of course, he himself didn't realize it).



as for the seme, he's gorgeous, he's a teacher, he's cold, he's a denial, but couldn't ignore the uke. what more you can ask for?



i gave 5 for the plot, not because it's a unique plot whatsoever. it's because the plot really touched me and got me carried away, not being able to look away before i finished reading it. it's heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. a twist here and there and i'm always wondering 'so what's next?'. there are also some little sparkles of crack here and there, but you gotta pay attention to comprehend the jokes.



oh, by the way, if you've read 'Star no Koi' by the same mangaka, there's an explanation in the omake about a little thread of connection to that story. just a little, but it's enough to amuse me.



p.s. my fav scene is chapter 4 page 127. eyecandy.

seriously, how can you not love yamato nase? her mangas are always cute and fluffy and makes you squee. this manga is no exception.



the art is cute, although (yes, kill me for saying this) is not that perfect. don't take me wrong, i love it. it's neat and cute.



the characters are the main attraction from this manga. a rich-seme, who know nothing about poor-life and want to learn from the uke (well, something like that), but of course, the seme sometimes ended up offending the poor-uke.



aside from the main characters, you cannot not fall in love with the uke's siblings. the uke is the oldest one, and his 4 (or 5?) little brothers are just cute and adorable, especially the twins. HILARITY ensues EVERYTIME they make an appearance. of course, i support the main characters romance and all, but i'm practically craving for more appearances of the uke's siblings =D



the plot, well, it wouldn't hurt to read this fluffy thing. in fact, it warms you up nicely. there are some amount of angst, and it added some twisted touch. i'm more into the crack, though.



btw, do you notice how many times i mentioned the word 'cute'? i think you get my point.

seriously, i'm just a fan of Akira Norikazu since that yakuza-themed manga. so when i saw this, i just HAVE to read it.



for the art: beatiful bois. lovely. you'll get your perfect seme and perfect uke here. i can't even decide which one i love more, the uke or the seme XD on a side note, the mangaka tends to draw muscular bodies. like, even the uke. and the seme was huge (the muscles, mind you). but believe it or not, i don't hate it at all. it's part of the mangaka's style, and you just can't hate the beauty of it.



the characters ranged to what might be everyone's taste. you have calm+mature seme and wild+perverted seme, then you have kitty-like uke and cranky-kitty uke. love. and what's more, the semes are TWINS. well, i can't say that they look similar (though they're supposed to be), but it's just a plus point, and it's just amusing to see how similar their personalities are actually.



the plot, however, is not surprising and could be your everyday yaoi story. but it's not disappointing and there're some little cute sparkles here and there.



recommended? hell yeah.

at first, i wasn't interested in the cover. but then i got to see the pages... and i fell in love straight away. the art is absolutely pretty, with neat lines and 'everyone-is-beautiful-art-type'. you'll so gonna love it if you're into pretty boys. the art also manage to deliver the feelings of the plot very well. when the uke's feeling shocked, for example, you can feel it by looking at the art.



about the plot, actually it was not that surprising. you can guess alright, but you'll still gonna wait anxiously of what's gonna happen next. the characters helped a lot in building the atmosphere of the plot. this is the first angst-yaoi-manga that actually almost made me cry (almost, because the scene changed before i had the chance to cry). the uke will make you want to hug him, not only because he's cute, but also because he's very depressed. he has some issues about himself, in which he thinks he's unloved. and feeling-unloved-uke is my favorite =D



there's a right amount of angst and warm feeling in this manga. absolutely recommended.
