To be fair, I rarely read yaoi for the plot, and the rather shota-esque picture on the front almost put me off but I'm glad I didn't let it.

Shinobu Kokoro is a decent read full of pretty boys with some fairly explicit scenes in but they all tie into the storyline. The two "stories" weave well around each other, making it an easy read but not overly simple. I am a huge Kyo Kara Maou fan but surprisingly the author's name didn't ring a bell when I first picked it up, and it was only when I got to the end that I realised it was the same person! Looking back I can see similarities in the style, and I think I got more out of it reading it a second time.

Worth a read at the right price!
