Another Good Yakuza Manga

“Usagi Otoko Tora Otoko” has the makings of a really good manga. So far only 2 chapters have been scanlated into English, but they are both very good so far.

Uzuki is a doctor at a University Teaching hospital who comes across a man, who is lying in an alley bleeding, one night after work. The man turns out to be a Yakuza named Nonami, who in a haze of pain, thinks that Uzuki is a woman named Suzuki. Nonami becomes attracted to “Suzuki” after being saved and makes one of his family members check into the hospital so that he can search for her. The story continues to progress as Nonami finds out the “Suzuki” is really Uzuki. The characters play off of each other very well and each has animal-like features and characteristics, Uzuki being a rabbit, and Nonami being a Tiger. There is a lot of tension building between them, so I think that there will be some great sex scenes later in the manga. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Honma Akira and also to those who have never read any of her manga.

Cute Flight Attendant Romance

“Secret Flight” is a pretty cute story about a flight attendant, Yuzuru, who is in denial about the fact that he is really “gay”. He is dumped by his first boyfriend, who works with him, right before the manga timeline begins. He is invited by Pilot Shiyou to come “cheat” with him during a layover after their flight together. Yuzuru accepts and their relationship begins.

The story has some ups and downs as the characters interact with each other and has a very good ending that leaves you wanting more. It has a pretty standard plot, with the Seme misunderstanding the Uke, treating him badly, than realizing the errors of his ways, but it was nicely executed.

The sex scenes were very hot, as is expected from Wren Tamaquis, and the art is very nice. I am greatly anticipating the continuation of the manga, where the focus shifts to different characters from this first story. I would recommend this manga to anyone who likes a cute story with great sex scenes and a little bit of drama thrown in.

Typical Fujisaki Kou Manga

"Konna Hazu ja Nakatta no ni" is a very typical Fujisaki Kou manga. I have read almost all of her manga that have been scanlated and I did not find this to be any different from the rest. The plotline of the main story was pretty boring, with the School Doctor uke and Student seme combination. The uke, Wataru, is in denial of his attraction to Ryuzaki, who is obviously attracted to Wataru from the beginning of the manga. I didn’t really see any relationship development between the two, so lost interest half-way through reading. The only really good thing about the manga was that it is Hard Yaoi, which made up for some of the lack of plot. The art is iffy for me as well. Sometimes I really enjoy the mangaka’s art, but then in some panels I just can’t stand it.
The one-shot at the end was a little better for me, both in the art and the plot. It was a little more interesting than the first one, but I think it should have been longer than a one-shot.

Sexy Seme

I really enjoyed this entire story. The art style is wonderful, the plot is good, the characters are engaging, and the sex is hot. Munekazu is a very sexy seme and goes together well with Hisaya. Munekazu does a good job of engaging Hisaya's interest, both at work and at home. There was good relationship development between the two as the story progressed. I really enjoyed the interaction between Nagamori Kyou and both of the main characters. He was interesting enough to make me want to read a story about him. I also really enjoyed the omake, which is about how the cover of the manga occurred. It was too cute. I would recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a little angst, some comedy, and a seme who likes to spoil his uke.

Good Beginning

Right now there is only one chapter of this manga scanlated in english, but it has the potential to become very good. The story is about a blogger, Shio, who meets up with some friends he met online through his blog. He is going to meet Miya (supposedly female), a blogger he hasn't met yet. He is surprised to find out that Miya is a very tall man who has a very calming effect on others. It is cute and funny, and has some good supporting characters. I have a feeling that there will be some good scenes coming up, as I have seen the raws for chapter 2. The art is excellent, as usual, and I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Suzuki Tsuta.

One of my Favorite Series

I absolutely love this series. Sakuraga Sensei is one of my favorite mangakas and this story has quickly become a favorite. I began wanting to see Nanao and Kuon together back when I read Kirai ja Nai Kedo. Nanao is a character with more depth than you expect and a lot of personal issues that are brought to light during this volume. Kuon interacts well with him and you see through this story that there is more of a connection between them than is seen before. As with all her mangas, the "H" scene is wonderful. After reading it I needed a fan, because I felt like I was having a hotflash. I am anticipating how this story ends, as it is only into the 4th chapter, and would recommend this to everyone, especially if you are a fan of Sakuraga Sensei.

First Story is very cute

The first story in this book takes its name from the title "Rental Lover". As the name suggests, the story is about a man, Hitoshi, who rents a lover (who is a machine). At first glance, I normally wouldn't care for this type of plotline, but the characters are very endearing and you begin to feel for both of them as the story goes on. They both have issues to overcome, and they help each other with those problems. One part of this manga that I really like is the art. I like how the mangaka draws her(?) characters. The lines are clean, the bodies are well proportioned, and the backgrounds are nicely drawn without too much going on to distract from the story. Another part of the manga that are great are the "H" scenes. They are nice and steamy and leave you wanting to see more. I will definitely be reading the rest of the manga and I would recommend this to everyone.
