Well, the anime is pretty good though it deviates from it's original plot and what I would call a "feel" of an anime. Basically in the begining, there's this kind of broken bad boy type which took up a hobby of being in a band. We see them struggle to stay as a band and then make it into the music industry and face his rich and powerful brother that despises him. Typical anime goodness till we hit the character development.

All of a sudden we see the typical cold main guy all of a sudden warm up to this high school girl without much develpment. I can take him picking up her poems and making them into lyrics and then suddenly being protective of her. She sort of make the band seem less 'close' as they all picked up different hobbies after they became famous. This happening AFTER they spend nearly 35 episodes trying to be close to one another...which make the ending seem pointless. Anyways I would rater the beginning a 5+ but the end a 2-3.
