I unfortunately loved this anime. Unfortunate because there quite simply isn't enough. I adore Yuuchiro and really wish there was a bit more action between him and Tohru. The voices fit well with the characters and each stands out in a unique way. The art is beautiful and the plot is focused more on friendship than love. However, there is plenty of comedy, and definitely places where you'll laugh out loud. Great way to while away the afternoon

I have to say that I completely agree with the previous reviewer. While the art isn't anything that grabs your attention immediately the plot certainly does. The characters are all very real feeling and go through emotions. Admittedly Takaya does go through mood swings a bit but he has a lot to deal with. The series leaves a bit unanswered however the OVA's take this job over leaving a very satisfied feeling overall. And Takaya's response to Naoe is basically amazing. Definitely worth the watch.

I saw the OVA long before the manga was ever released (in english) and I remember that there were times when I was a bit lost but it was still enough to leave it as a stand alone. Events in the OVA take place in the second manga with flashbacks to the previous in the movie. The art translated moderately well however the voices, to me were not at all how I pictured them after reading the manga. Still there are some good comedy scenes, especially involving our two favorite detectives and its certainly worth a watch if your a fan.
