This series kind of pulled me in right away, at first, for being so different, and then for being so exciting, where you just couldn't wait to see what happened next.

This isn't something you start looking for some boy love action, though you do end up hopeing for it once you begin to know the characters better, but, hey that's what Doujinshi is for :].

This is the kind of show you start, and it's kind of something you have to be committed to. Something, you end up feeling you gotta start all the way to the finish, or else you just pretty much go nuts with anticipation. Haha.

It's a Shojo action adventer, that's super cute, hilarious, and dramatic. Something you'll fall absoulutally in love with.

Even if it's not what you're looking for at the time, PLEASE do give it a go, it's worth ever half hour

A word of warning for anyone unaware. This is something for someone definately 18+ due to ... i'll bluntly put it, Excessive sex and sexual situations. So, if you are of the modest side, please stear clear. Don't be fooled by the innocent look of those cute little boys, they are very VERY naughty.

Now, moving on.

The animation was lovely, i have to admit. Cutely designed, clean and sharp. Though, Pico had too much of a resemblance of a girl for my taste.
Though, for story there wasn't really anything at all, just some cutely drawn super hard core shota lovein' (though i'm sure there is much more harder out there).

I'm sure anyone that likes an action filled shota-ai and can overcome Pico's overly feminine attributes, this would be the animation for them.

But for me, this isn't of my interest. I didn't rate it badly, because it is, what it is. It's an animation for older girls/boys to appeal and fufill their shota desires. And that's precisely what it does. Gives it to you heavy and hard, in two short half hour films. If you want story, this is not it. If you want action, then this is it. It just depends on what you're looking for. You eather like or you don't sort of thing, i suppose.

I found this to be a rather enjoyable movie, even though backround information from the manga was somewhat needed (though the version on YouTube does a good job on filling you in on what you need to know).

The animation is kind of Old School, but still very appealing, and in my opinun beautiful. You can't say it's a clean quality, but :P It's from a VHS released in the 80s.

It's got a defininte unique quality, and a story that feels somewhat unlike anyother. The characters may fit into sterio-typical personalities, but not really those of Boy Love.

Serge's personality is innocent and kind, with a strong sense of justice, while Gilbert is beautiful by looks but has a demented, twisted sort of personality. The story is quite dramatic and also poetic, and with it's setting and time frame, it's just makes it incredibley interesting (too me anyways).

^^ It kind of does stir in you the desire to continue the story by reading the manga series, which i'd say are most difficult to find considering how old it is.

I really can't tell you much to why i like it, i just find in entirely fasinating. DX And just hope it comes to DVD someday *sigh*

But i really do recomend this, for any fan girl or boy, it's really just quite exciting and appealing!
