Very...
Well, I must say it's very Chitose Piyoko
There really isn't anything new
A series of oneshots with the stereotypical characters and common plots
This really doesn't pass as anything more than average.
Though, as a fangirl, I did enjoy all those naughty scenes in there, I just wish the author put actual stories in there.
Well, I liked the first story. It's the most memorable, though I think in a few days or so I'd forget all about it too.
This is eye candy, that's for sure, but that's all that it is.

The OVA
Well, for one thing, this is a one piece all yaoi lovers must not miss
Though I like the quality of the animation, I just wish they would have started a little earlier in the manga instead of starting without even introducing the characters
Funny at times, and guessing games here and there
the plot was unconventional, but as I said earlier, it could have gone smoother if there were better introductions. One of the main reasons why this series was unique was that in this world, there was no need to be overly freaky for same sex couples to have biological children, and this part was not even explained in the OVA.
Plus, the characters in focus was different...

For somthing so short, it's good
Well, if it's the art, nothing spectacular. The characters weren't exactly the most beautiful, nor were they the most memorable, but it isn't that bad either.
As for the characters, again, nothing we haven't seen before. Bigger, more masculine seme and smaller, almost-a-girl uke. I did have fun watching Takahashi's expressions though.
Now for the plot. Again, I really didn't expect much from something so short. I thought it would be more porn-y with the popular oneshot theme of "I meet, I like, we sex". But no such thing here.
Well, level of yaoiness won't even get to level 3. It's just kissing and holding hands.
BUT, I did like the flow of the story. It somehow made me giddy like a high school girl reading one of those shoujo mangas out there. There was even a time when I felt like "Aww...."
And the ending, oh the ending... Uchida's realization was kind of funny and yet a little poignant at the same time. I wish I could've seen how it turned out, but it had to end there. It's sweet, with just a hint of bitterness. If one is looking for hot and spicy, this probably won't do, but for subtle sweetness, this is really a good read.
