How can you NOT love Kyou Kara Maou!? It's THE best anime ever! I'm suprised that I watched the entire thing on the internet. In Japanese! I've seen every episode and it does not serve to disappoint. This is the best, I have to say. I love it, I love it, I love it! I cried like 3 times in the last episode, for three different reasons. It ends on a happy note that says, "YES! I'm back! I couldn't let you guys down like that!" Only... I wish they would make a movie or OVA!!! My friend told me about this anime and I was like, "Alright. I'll check it out." That was the best thing I've ever done. Most anime I've watched you can tell it will be good or bad by the first episode, but this one is different. During the first episode, I kept thinking it seems too fairytale-ish and I wouldn't like it. At the ending of that first episode and I saw Wolfram, I was like "DAAAAANG! Who is THAT! Yeah, Yuri! Pretty Boy is RIGHT!" So I went to watch the next episode and everything like a fairytale was somewhat tossed aside with a craziness that would be spotted in no young child's fairytale. This is a fairytale for older kids, even adults, most especially for BL lovers. Though, later you see it's rather a very, VERY different fairytale altogether. A much more mature one. It's great, I love it, and I would not be able to believe it if anyone said otherwise. Don't let the first episode fool you, this anime is much better than it lets on for that first episode. ALthough I must say, the 'being flushed down a toilet thing' is a bit catchy and you should take that as a hint on how this isn't no ordinary fairtale. This is a friggin' awesome anime, and I think it deserves much fame and fortune!! Watch it! It may be the best thing that could happen to you! haha! It's great. Did I say the best?

This anime may have a good story line and it is different in what would be a good way, but I hated the art. And the animation. If they could draw better, maybe it would be a show worth watching. That's just my opinion though. I was not happy to see it. I liked the story line but the art and animation just brought me down and dissappointed me to an extreme.

Haru wo Daiteita is another of my favorites. It's not the best art I've seen, but I LOVE the characters and how everything fits together so easily. Not only are the main characters great, but all the add-in characters to make the story are wonderful as well. I just could never get over how great this series was. It's not the typical one, but it's great. The role of the characters just add to it's glory. This series rocks and it's definitely a good one. One that makes you sqirm in your seat and be like "YES! haha! F**k him again!! He can't say aything about it! And if he does, do it anyway!!" (or again, maybe that's just me...) I've never read the manga but I must say it's even awesome as an anime. XD This anime is really seductive and I love it.

Gravitation is a very awesome starter BL anime. Shuichi and Yuki are mae for each other, and Maki Murakami is a genius! Not to mention, there's lots of room for experiments with other characters. It never fails to suprise when I find someone who doesn't like Gravitation. I actually used this series to hook most of my friends on shounen-ai and yaoi. We all love it now. Gravitation is one of my favorites. The OVAs are even good! I can't wait until I get my hands on Gravitation EX!!! I agree with ExoticChocolat when he/she says that the manga is better, but if you can't get your hands on that, the anime is excellent! I just love everything about Gravitation. Because it's SHINY NO DA!!! But it also has a bit of serious tone to it as well. And that just adds to the awesomeness. ^^

Gakuen Heaven. What much can I say other than I love it. They throw a lot of "sexual tension" in this series with all the teasing and how close the boys are together. It's building up to the part that every one wants and when it gets there, we all have to squeal in happiness. (Well, I did anyways.) ^^ I LOVE this series. It's one of my favorites. It's very much worth the watch if you haven't seen it. A nice little peaceful series to put a calmer on all the dramatic ones. But not too mellow. It's a lot of fun to watch.

I've watched this before and though it was a while back that I watched it, I do remember how I felt about it. I felt the need to stick my two-cents in and tell how I felt about it by leaving a review since no one else has. I think I liked the main story of it, but it was definitely not the best. I think I hated the art. It is clearly an old anime and you can see that as soon as you start to watch it. I give it a 2 on lenient rating. REALLY lenient rating. I'd just feel bad if I gave it a one though!

After reading the reviews already left, I was somewhat nervous to watch this anime. I waited until I was at my friend's house with her and asked her to watch it with me. I had to leave before the second episode was finished and had to finish it myself. She finished it before me, and though she was squealing through it all and appeared to love it, she told me she was dissappointed in the ending. Actually, she told me the ending sucked. She was more enthusiastic than I was. Angels aren't necessarily my thing. The art was great and the characters cute. But that's not all that makes a good anime. According to my friend, everyone had a special someone. Who that someone was for each person may be debatable in this series. I'm currently letting what I've missed load, but from what I've seen of it so far. It is not the worst anime I've ever seen, but it's not the best either. Honestly, with this anime, opinion seems to matter a lot. It seems, quite a bit of people have different opinions and the best advice I can give for those who want to know if they should watch it is, Give it a try. No harm can be done, after all. You may like it, or you may not. But you shouldn't miss out on something you may like because someone you don't know said it wasn't good. Watch a bit of it, then decide whether you like it or not. What can you lose? Personally (now that I've just finishes watching the rest of it), I rather like it. It's a good show, but it does seem to leave off a missing chapter or something. Like the story just ends! It didn't finish! Not fair... Was that Nagi at the end?! (Yeah, what happens after the credits ticks me off cuz I don't know what happens. It seems there should be a sequel or something, but that it's unlikely.)



This anime reminded me of a few others which it is not as great as, but it is still good. My rating scale is from 1 to 10.

I give it a 9 in art.

I give it a 7 in animation.

I give it a 9 in story line, but that is reduced to 8 because it left off somewhat unfinished.

I give it a 8 for the enjoyment factor.



Now all in all, I'm not sure whether to put it at a 3 or 4. A 3 for stricter grading and a 4 for lenient grading. I think I'll go with 3.
