Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi OVA

Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi (The Best First Love in the World) OVA is out. This is not the same as the anime TV series that is going to air on 8th April 2011. This OVA is from the DVD that comes together with the Japanese edition of Volume#5 manga of Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi. So remember to buy this original DVD to show your support, it comes in a neat packaging and you can buy it from any online anime store like CDJapan or Amazon.

I am liking this couple more after watching this OVA and eagerly waiting for the anime TV series. Heard it's going to be 13 episodes like a season of Junjou Romantica. I have not read the manga and not sure what to really expect, hope it gets good! I also heard that BLU will be publishing the manga in English to be released in July 2011. Be sure to get that too!

Please do not ask me for the raw video, you can always buy the DVD for it.

EDIT: We re-released a Version 2 subs with the corrected names.
Ada Ritsu is now Oda Ritsu, Salad is now Sorata.
Thanks to those that reported it to us.
(I received a lot of reports on these two names, so I think it's crucial to change them as not to confuse people especially different language teams who is also translating this show)

Wow this is good news. I just read this manga recently as in this week only, thanks to DP for providing the english translation of the manga. Looking forward for the subbed version (English) of this DVD

Dear all, pls note that we have made a mistake on one thing in this release. I wrote "Ada Ritsu" when it should be "Oda Ritsu". So sorry about that. Please take note especially those of you who are using the video to translate to a different language. Thanks again for reporting this caramelruki.
I heard Sarada (Salad) too... but you might be right too.

It's not clear yet. We don't know if crunchy actually will sub it yet. And we don't know if it's possible for two parties to work on the same thing. I wish crunchy would just leave it to aarin though. We'll know in a few days or a week maybe.

It's been confirmed that Crunchyroll is putting it out. It was announced on ANN and also Crunchyroll has already put up the Promotional Video for it. I think Aarin will have the final say on what she wants to do.

Crunchy roll is just...the wrong place...the comments people made on the PV bugs me. They were all like "lol I wont be watching I don't swing that way" So why do they even watch? We already know everyone doesn't like BL which is okay. Either way since this is an instant fav anime for me I wanna download them. So I wont see stupid comments but I just hope I can download them somehow. Cause I just wont put up with silly stupid comments begging for be read. D: It gives me belly ache... lol

@ Seny: I sympathize with you... I believe that if anyone is going to watch something they should at least read up on it first before bashing everything in sight! Or the fact that they don't watch it because they don't swing that way? That is probably one of the dumbest reasons on the planet if ever I heard one along those lines. At least we can be thankful that we that are smarter than them and that we get the benefit of watching something we know is awesome!

GAH!!! They are releasing this in America?!?! I had no idea!!! smilies/shocked.gif That makes me so happy! AND it's the same day as volume 13 of Junjou Romantica!!!! Ah haha you just gave me something great to look forward to although now this means that I can't read the manga online.....damn.
