Touching with depth

Well the first time I heard the title was when my gay friend lend me this title. The manga was abit slow and so when the anime came out I had the feeling it will be slow paced too but to my surprise it did not bother me at all. I love the seiyuu in the anime adaptation , I love the art compared to the manga. They took care in the character development and relationship of the characters.Thank you seiyuutachi for giving the characters life.

New art style, a bit slow, but overall: wonderful!

Because I watched the Jdrama series first which only had the slight overtones of shounen-ai, I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the anime and realized how much shounen-ai was in the original story. The art style they used for this threw me off for a bit and was the reason why I put off watching this show for so long. However, once you start, you really can't help but keep on watching.

What really makes this anime so attractive is the interaction between each of the main characters. Tachibana is adorable, especially when in relation to Ono and pretty much makes you laugh every time they're in the same room.

Overall, a great anime, despite the slow pace and different art style.

Slow moving at first, but wonderfully good!

The first episode actually bored me. The art was different then what I'm used to as they use 3d sets for some of the scenes. It was slow moving at first and wasn't sure if this was a comedy, a drama, romance or what.

But then the characters of Eiji and Chikage are introduced and the story picked up pace as well as humor, a bit of romance, and a decades long mystery all wrapped in one.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this story, as its touching and beautiful. The characters all have a lot of depth into their backstory and a lot of heart. I teared up in a few scenes, especially when it comes to Eiji.

The series does lack romance, but it more then makes up for it with the plot. The end surprised me, but it was as it should have been. The last line lingered on for me as the scene faded with the words "Forget". It was just so beautifully told and I'm saddened that it ended.

My opinion of this fantastic anime

At first i was very dissappointed to the art, cause it was very odd to me and almost quited watching this, because of it, but i'm glad that i gave it new change.

It gave me great story!
The story came interesting in every episode i watched and i couldn't get enough of this.
So i'm sad that it ended, so shortly.

One thing that i expected that there would be more intimicy with Ono and Chikage, but of course there wasn't, cause it was shounen-ai, but always can hope XD

And i loved Kanda! His story of not getting to box, cause of his eye's made me sad and i hoped so much that he could win that!
And of course as Yaoi and Shounen-Ai fan i wished that Kanda and Tachibana would have had something on, but unfortunately it didn't happen.

This anime gladly opened my eye's, cause before i didn't watch art's that was odd to me, but this anime proved me that the anime can be fantastic in every kind of art.

I recommend this to all Yaoi and Shounen-Ai lover's!

Dessert anyone?

I actually expected something similar to Yakitake Japan with them showing all those delicious baked goods. Yet, I didn't expect to be smitten with their simply, fluffy humour. The friendships they made was a joy to watch as well. The trials and tribulations too.

One thing to note, do not watch on an empty stomach! This show adds pounds i tell you. I drooled through every episode. And it wasn't just because of those cakes!
