One of the Best
Close the Last Door was a really good anime, in my opinion. It had a pretty good storyline, and you could feel the feelings of the characters. It was also humorous, and could make me laugh so hard, I had tears in my eyes. It was beautiful, the way Nagai felt about him. And I found that to be really adorable, how he couldn't express those feelings. And when he had the chance to, he couldn't bring himself to do it, he was too afraid. It was adorable how Saitou was completely oblivious, and seemed to make it worse for Nagai. The role that Honda played was the main source for the humor and, even though you'd think he would makes things more complicated, he didn't, and even seemed to make Nagai feel better about his feelings. I think it could of ended better, but overall, the anime was amazing and definately worth checking out.
If you like comedy and drama squeezed into one, I'd recommend you check out this yaoi.
I have to say, Close the Last Door is one of the best yaoi anime out there.

I have to say the story is quite something.
It's not something that I've seen before so that's good
The art is also good, I can't say excellent though
The characters are extremely cute and I like the fact that they are who they are meaning they stick to their personality.
I like the couple Honda and Nagai because they are just adorable together
I must say I do not like their friend that much.
Anyways, overall it is not excellent but it is a great anime

It tells the story of Nagai, who has developed a crush on his younger co-worker Saitou. Unfortunatly Saitou is getting married and after the wedding Nagai drinks away his sorrow, alone at the bar, while making nasty comments about his friend's wife Remi. Honda, a co-worker of Remi joins Nagai and takes care of him after he passes out from the excessive drinking. Now Nagai can't stop thinking about Saitou and Honda.
When it comes to an actual story, it seems to be a bit lacking. The kissing and rubbing comes out of nowhere. No tension, no reason, no explanation. Interesting scenes which would lead at some sort of depth get cut short, which is a shame. On the other hand, it's full of humour, it lacks angst and you'll get somewhat curious how it will end.

It's a good story if you wanna have a laugh, some light shounen-ai and aren't too bothered about a lack of plot. For hot sex and deep emotional turmoil however, you should pass on this.

The thing about this anime is, it's very good but it just ticks you off that there's only one episode. Plot-wise, I'd say it makes for a really entertaining watch at the least.
Still, I can't get over the fact that there's only one episode. T_T

Close the Last Door is a hilarious, whimsical, pull at your heart strings shounen-ai in which it's pure realism is huanting.
Story goes, Atsushi Nagai is fuming because he fell in love with his best friend. A best friend who just so happens to be getting married. And he's terribly jealous. Afterward, he resorts to drink away his issues when he happens to run into the brides ex, Honda. Circumstances occur and Honda ends up taking care of the terribly drunken Nagai. Once Nagai feels as if he's finally gotten over his friend, Saitou, he finds the grief stricken groom on his doorstep. Dazed, confused, and not to mention conflicted, Nagai tries to comfort his broken hearted friend, who's wife ran away, and trying not to glomp the guy in the process. But he's also trying to understand the new feelings he's developed for Honda. It all comes down to one thing; Who will Nagai choose? Tall, dark, and handsom Honda, or adoribly sexy best friend Saitou.
Personally, I loved this series. It had me laughing histerically to the point I had to take a neccisary bathroom break. The characters personalities are so brilliantly portrayed through the akward situations, you could swear that these men were real. The video quality is superb. Crisp, clean, and shiny. Also, there aren't any real ridiculous hair colors or humongo dewy eyes. Everything is quite realistic. Further connecting you to the characters. I'm not sure whom was voicing whom, but who ever they are, mas kudos. My only dissapointment was how it ends (which I won't reviel). I know that the continuation is supposed to be coming out soon, but I still can't wait. In terms of the A.F (affection Factor), nothing really goes past intense make-out sequences and some carefully (and clever) clothed touching. Even though there's no nudity, you really won't find yourself caring too much. If you came to see sex every 2 seconds, go watch Boku no Pico. But, if you appreciate a quality story with strong presence and character connection, as well as frightening realism, then please, tune in.
this has been a Yuki-san review, thank you.
