Haru wo Daiteita (OVA) Hot

I thought this was a cute little one-shot that stood alone. I like how the characters weren't madly in love by the end saying all those gushy, mushy, lovey-dovey things, but were more into the mind set of I'm attracted to you so let's see where this goes.

"Brilliant!", I am such a huge fan of Youka Nitta's work. I am simply in love with these two main characters; Kyosuke Iwaki and Yoji Katou. I've never had favorites before so to actually capture my heart means GREAT work. I think the anime is a teaser and it doesn't even begin to describe the relationship between the two. I have to say Shinichiro Miki who plays Katou's voice and Toshiyuki Morikawa who plays Iwaki's voice are amazing. There were many times I was swept away by Morikawa's deep yet sultry voice, of course Miki's voice did not lose out either. He played Katou just right. I mean if I read the manga and hear their voices in my head--they did a fine job. There were parts of the OVA which had my heart racing and cheeks blushing but it was delightful to watch. The plot flows well and it's easy to follow the drama, jealousy, competition, denial, and love that ensues. If you like this, I say give the manga a try as well because it will certainly keep you begging for more.

there are two animes that i really love, ANK and HARU. expecially, as i have beeen fortunate enough to read almost all the mangas......



i loved the OVA. the two characters were very interesting, the way they played off on each other.



i would serously recommend the works of youka nitta sensei for any yaoi fan, bellieve me, you will love it.



once you read the mangas, then the OVAs will make a lot more sense.

Haru wo Daiteita is another of my favorites. It's not the best art I've seen, but I LOVE the characters and how everything fits together so easily. Not only are the main characters great, but all the add-in characters to make the story are wonderful as well. I just could never get over how great this series was. It's not the typical one, but it's great. The role of the characters just add to it's glory. This series rocks and it's definitely a good one. One that makes you sqirm in your seat and be like "YES! haha! F**k him again!! He can't say aything about it! And if he does, do it anyway!!" (or again, maybe that's just me...) I've never read the manga but I must say it's even awesome as an anime. XD This anime is really seductive and I love it.
