Kirepapa (OAV) Hot

I really enjoyed watching this very cute and humorous OVA. It is definitely one of my favorite yaoi animes for I have already watched it over countless times. The animation was drawn beautifully with a very good and unexpected twist in the storyline. Though I agree that the story may seem a bit rushed, it is still worth watching to see its happy ending. Chisato is a very lovable character and is my favorite in the OVA. His angry expressions due to his overprotective personality for his son is truly the best! XD After finishing the first OVA, the second OVA is the icing on top! I believe the second one is even funnier than the first, so don't miss out. I think I speak for many people when I say I wish there were more episodes. Again, I would highly recommend any yaoi fan who enjoys watching comedy and romance to watch!

I went into this with a sort of "Meh, guess I'll see what it's about" attitude, and within the first five minutes, I was cracking up. I love the animation style, and the expressions of the characters (especially Chisato) are really amusing. He's so over-the-top but in a really endearing way, and I can't help but love him. It's a bit rushed as far as the progression of the relationship, but that's going to be the case with a lot of anime in general because there are only so many episodes, and each one can't last an hour. So, that said, I think this is a really cute one, and I'm glad I took a chance on it.

I have to say, this anime is so cute and heartfelt. When it first starts, you expect the son to be the one falling for the best friend, instead of the best friend falling for the father, but it all turns out in the end. It's definately got quite a few twists and turns, but it keeps you entertained. It's like it reaches out and wraps around your heart, stopping you from walking away until you see the end. You can feel the pain that they feel, and you can feel the happiness, as well. It kind of makes you feel like you're actually there with the characters as all of this is going on. I find it inspiring the way their family hates the idea of being with another man, but they eventually come around and, even though they find it hard to accept, they realize how happy they are. It's funny, sad, and happy all rolled into one. The perfect yaoi!

Kirepapa is a very good OVA, though a little rushed. Overall the story is very good, and the animation is smooth and very well done. In my opinion the first episode was ALOT better then the second as their relationship didn't really develop much (but it was really funny) All in all it's short, but highly entertaining even though there's no real plot the two episodes are very funny, and very fluffy. I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of yaoi!!

Very short but highly enjoyable. The story is a bit rushed and it could easily have been turned into a much longer anime and gone into more details with the characters.

It's about a father that does horrible things to his sons' friends as he is afraid they will betray and take advantage of his son Riju. One guy refuses to give up, and after 4 years of putting up Chisato's attempts at scaring everyone off, is actually in love with Chisato. A great show. Go watch it!
