From ANN: The story revolves around high school student Akira Nikaido, a typical slacker living a normal life. That is, until he meets the mysterious Shirogane, a man who suddenly appears and tells him to meet him at the school that night. Though he is skeptical, he goes anyway, and subsequently gets attacked by a shadow monster. Shirogane convinces him that the balance between the human world and the shadow world has been distorted, and that Akira must become a "shin", which is a creature of the shadow world, in order to help restore the balance.

Wonderful
This anime is really amazing and wonderful and makes you laugh. It's not one of those series that are extremely serious all the time. And if you are aiming for the love scenes, than maybe it's not the series for you. But when Shirogane flirts with Akira it will make you go into fan girl mode. It has lots of action to keep you satisfied and Keigo and his sister just make everything fun.Even if you aren't a shonen-ai fan you would this series. It's pretty flexible. So you can introduce this series to guys and non boys love.
The idea and plot of the series is pretty mysterious and good, but maybe a little more information about the characters would have been nice. It probably sound kind of clique because it's about evil shadow creatures and fighting against darkness which is a pretty common theme in anime and manga. But It's fairly original when it comes to the characters. But,I would advise you to read the manga if you are extremely confused after you finish the anime. The anime is pretty confusing. Hope you enjoy the show.

Great
The anime is pretty good and leaves you wanting a bit more to happen. And at times, you get just a bit of it. No sexual scenes are in it. But there is flirts, hints, and sometimes the often comfort touch between the characters. Even more between Akira and Shirogane who battle against the forces of darkness, aka shadow creatures, to restore the balance between light and darkness.
It's different from the manga in the shounen-ai look added into it and that they didn't extend certain parts out. Even more random people who get possessed keep entering and exiting without being seen again with little or no background of why they were possessed in the first place. It's a repeat of fight and find out a bit more why Akira and his friends are fighting the shadows again and questioning the trust between certain party members.
Other then that it's pretty good and will make you laugh and forget the time. Don't go thinking there will be many romance scenes. But if you like guys hitting on each other, go for it.

Pretty Good
This anime is pretty good. It's action packed so there aren't any slow moments and remains well-paced. The first episode captivates the audience as you see Akira being transformed into a cool superhero along side Shirogane, who is constantly seeking affection from Akira. The relationship between Akira and Shirogane is the basis of the shounen-ai in this series. There's the occasional grabbing and hints, but there's nothing that is overtly sexual so if you're looking for fanservice, there isn't much. This series is very comedic and entertaining.
However, the character development is a bit rushed. I'm not sure if it's because the series is short or if it was just converted from the manga poorly. Towards the end, new characters are introduced quite abruptly with little to no information about their existence. It seemed rushed and somewhat unsatisfying.
Overall, the series was pretty good and quite funny, but don't expect too much.
