Wish I could find more

I found this by accident. I typed in yaoi and came across the title and thought, 'why not?' I can tell you that I'm glad that I did. I can only find the first episode and I really, really enjoyed it. I haven't laughed aloud so much, at anything, as I did with this feature. I am fervently searching for the other episodes, even the ones that haven't been fan subbed yet. I hope I find them, definitely worth a look.

Though I haven't seen all of the episodes, from what I have seen I can say that this is definitely an interesting show! ^^;

It focuses on the ridiculous spoiled troublemaker prince, Patalliro (age ???), and his bodyguard Bancoran, and their daily murder mysteries. Er, well, the murder doesn't usually occur until the end of the episode, so it's more like "who's trying to murder Patalliro" mysteries, which usually involve a beautiful pretty-boy double-agent (who all look almost identical) who ends up falling for bishounen-killer Bancoran and his amazing eye-shadow.

So, this anime is shounen-ai, but that's not really the point. It's more like a massively re-occurring joke and plot device. (But I don't mean that in a bad way.) What is the point then?? Honestly, I'm not sure there is one. (Again, this is not a bad thing.) Sometimes it's nice to just sit down with no expectations and watch something ridiculously silly and pointless! And that's what I suggest you do. Sit down and laugh at the 80's animation, the men's eyeshadow, the onion-head servants, and the obscene amount of times Patalliro makes sexy eyes at Bancoran. =D

I saw the fansubbed episodes and I laughed my rear off! Defiantly cheesy and 80s(to the core!) but I still had a good laugh. When it comes to the crown prince and Ban-it is defiantly a love hate relationship(more hate on Bancoran's side). The only bone I have to pick with this series is I really did not like the side views of their faces. Once you see them, you'll know what I mean. Other than that, I really enjoyed this series.
