Tenshi ni Narumon Hot

I personally love this series. It's not very well known and a bit hard to come by but it's worth watching if you can find it. The main focus of the story is on Noelle as she tries to become an angel with the help of her cracky family. It's enjoyable, lighthearted for the most part, and I found myself in hysterics at some of the characters' antics. There is also a slightly more serious side to the story in the last few episodes that I think balanced the story well.

Now, I know what you're thinking...what the hell does this have to do with yaoi? And upon watching the first few episodes you may find yourself disappointed, wondering why this is even listed on AarinFantasy. Well be patient and you'll have your reward with this series. Throughout the first season you'll encounter a young mysterious boy angel named Mikael. He's a cute little thing but there isn't too much to him for quite a while. But if you stick around for the second season, you'll get to see Raphael (hm wonder where they got those names from >>;), an older angel and Mikael's lover. Yup you heard that right. There is no "oh it's hinted they might be together" in this series. It is stated right out that the two are sleeping together. There isn't a huge amount of them in the series but the little there is, I found quite rewarding. The two are absolutely adorable and there is one particular episode involving them that almost had me in tears (I won't spoil it for you though).

I believe it is worth giving the series a chance but don't expect too much out of it. It's an older series and you do have to wait quite some time to get to the few shonen ai scenes but they are there and in my opinion the rest of the series is so enjoyable that it's not that bad of a wait. If you like series such as Princess Tutu and Utena, you'll probably like this series anyways as it's a similar type of crack. If you're not that fond of those types of series...you may want to skip this one or just look up the shonen ai parts on their own.
