I love you Sensei!

Ougi Yuzuha is an awesome artist, as well as, a great storyteller.

Yuka, a freshmen in high school, sees his math teacher in a compromising position in front of his apartment door (Yuka lives in the same apartment building as his teacher). Yuka then blackmails his teacher into posing for him so he can draw Gotou's handsome face.

The story continues on with Yuka falling in love with Gotou, and after a few ups and downs they end up together.

Great story, and one worth a reread or 10.

Setting the bar for student/teacher stories

Ougi-sensei has a style of art that is an acquired taste. For me, I personally like it, so I have no problem giving it 5 stars. It's different from Naono Bohra or Asami Toujou or others, but it has its own distinction. Please don't let the art alone deter you.

This story really tugs on my heart strings. There's some about the uke Yuka that is so endearing. He looks like the stereotypical girly uke, but he's level-headed, mature, and truly adorable. He keeps a positive attitude despite all of the hardships he faces, but it doesn't feel like a front and it certainly isn't effortless (as we find out the day he goes to Kamakura).

Gotou-sensei's struggle to keep a professional relationship isn't so much one of "I need to restrain my desire for him" (at least in the beginning) but more a question of how involved does he want to get into his student's personal life. Arrogant but kind-hearted in a somewhat aloof manner, I particularly liked his character.

This is not your typical student/teacher story because both parties recognize the boundaries that they are approaching (and ultimately do cross). Although the cover art may suggest so, this isn't a fluffy story, but one that's highly emotional with unexpected twists.

This is one of those stories where the mundane everyday feel of the ending is very much welcome. One of my favorites and a must-read.

An innocent love story filled with passion

I’ve always been a fool for teacher/student relationship stories, and when I read the summary of this one, decided to read it at once. When I began, the first thing that got my attention was the art style: Ougi-sensei has a very “free hand” style, as if the pens she used to draw were somehow floating over the paper, giving the illustrations a very fluid fashion; her landscapes are very detailed, while the other scenes may get a little bit sketchy sometimes.
The plot goes from light hearted moments, to dramatic and sad situations, dealing with stuff like bullying, loneliness and abandonment. The most striking part for me was the bullying, because I didn’t expect that such a topic would be treated due to the light note with which the plot started at the beginning; despite that, I think that the mangaka got it right, confronting the subject with seriousness and consideration.
To sum up, this is a great, solid story, and I absolutely recommend it.

Awsome manga

I enjoyed this manga. It was a very good yaoi. The plot was somewhat non original but there were some twists in the manga I didn't see comming. I liked how they started to live together and i like'd how they ended up staying with each other. At the end all they had really was eachother and I really like how the auther showed that.

I also liked that this wasn't just a BANG yaoi. They didn't find out about eachother and have sex the next day. They didn't go to school together like lovers and everyone not care. This was a true teacherxstudent yaoi. The teacher fell in love with the boy and vice virsa. The sensei was scared he was going to hurt him and the boy just wanted his teacher.

If you ever get to read this manga. I read it over and over and I still love it.

I absolutely love this story. It has a good understandable plot. There is an actually story and the characters relationship are not based on sex. In fact, this is one of the best yaoi story with lovable sex, plot, art and characters that i have read in a while!
