Loved it. ;D
Hilariously and awesomely done. Despite it seeming like a set-up for a love triangle, it really doesn't go that way. Umebayashi is hilarious - his whole personality, the way he spazzes - it's enough to make you laugh and feel sorry for him because the poor guy's obviously working so hard. The whole story isn't set to be serious in any way (well, maybe on Umebayashi's part in all his attempts of trying to woo and confess his feelings), the reactions of the other two, and the art (the variety of expressions, the proportions of the body) all look and are pretty good.
The art style is just right for its genre and the little twist at the end left me laughing. It really ends in a comical tone, but there were some serious moments in the oneshot that made me just want to stay on the pages a little longer.

What appears to be a typical setting of two guys going after the same guy, but really...? The two "semes" in the story, Umebayashi and Takeshiba are the most interesting in terms of character. Umebayashi is the rambunctious, energetic blond whose expression changes every minute from pouty lips to baring fangs. Takeshiba is the cool, reserved type with an acute, sarcastic sense of humour. Matsubara, however, is your typical cutey-boy uke and doesn't leave much of an impression.
Story-wise it is light and easy to read, comedic and sweet. The ending is also unusual but cute. The plot itself might be pretty unrealistic, but it's worth a read just to see the characters go through all their ups and downs, all in a hilarious way.
