Calorie Hot

I highly recommend this one. So damn cute from beginning to end, you can't help falling in love with these 2 characters. The way they go through each others firsts, I loved it so much. Not alot of angst in this one, just pure love. What's weird, is I'm not really into cute stories. I love writings with lots of angst, so I was surprised this one grabbed my attention as much as it did.

I always restrain my self from giving 5 stars in case I find something that really impresses me. You know...the reviewer complex. This time though I just couldn't. Although, I have to admit that nothing in this manga falls in my type of manga.



The art is clear and has a distinctive style to it, even though I wouldn't say it's 'cute' or 'beautiful' (don't judge it by the cover though). At least you can't get mixed up in the midst of flowers designs : there's none of that. Plus, she have the habit to style up her main characters with new clothes each time...you'll see, it has a practical side to it. The characters, plot and storytelling...all I can say is that I'm gonna get more mangas from this mangaka...she seems to have some special touch. I'm still surprised with myself regarding this manga.
