Freaking Hilarious
Reading this I can't stop laughing. This story is all about the crack. You have three boys talking to their penises and one boy in a coma. Two of the boys have somehow switched penises with each other, and the remaining boy's penis is possessed by the soul of the guy in the coma. See, nothing but crack. Don't expect a lot from the story. The joke of talking penises is the only thing breathing life into this tale, but oddly it is enough. I never once got bored of reading this. The characters are all cute two-dimensional types who manage to fall in love as the story goes on. Don't read this if you want something serious or deep. This is lighthearted fun. One of the penises, for some crazy reason, is drawn with glasses. That image alone left me in a fit of giggles. If the idea of boys talking to their penises and the penises talking back does not seem funny to you then you will not like this. For everyone else, you will love it. ^^

Weird, but a good weird.
Basic plot summary:
Four boys. Four penises. One bad bus accident and suddenly everyone's penis is possessed by another penis or soul. And apparently now they (the penises) can talk!
Review (no major spoilers):
I can tell you right now that I'm going to have fun writing this one.
Okay, if you couldn't tell by the brief summary above then you should know that this story is pure crack. There is nothing serious about it. It's just one long, hilarious ride. The main characters are okay. They all follow your basic manga stereotypes but you get so drawn into the story (it's very hard not to when you have boys constantly addressing their penises) to care. I especially liked the growing relationship between the bookworm, Iwabuchi and party boy, Kamiya, who have ended up switching penises with each other. There's also Ayase, your typical pretty uke, who's penis is possessed with the soul of the unconscious Toride. It is kind of hard to feel the connection between the two since Toride is in a coma most of the time, leaving Ayase with no one to bond with except his possessed appendage.
The art is very good. The way the mangaka draws the penises makes them look--dare I say--adorable. I wish I could say more, but besides the main joke there really isn't much depth to the story or the characters. However, reading through the story I never once found myself bored. You would think that after a while the boys talking to their penises humor would get old, but it doesn't.
This manga is nothing but a good laugh, so don't expect more from it. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking some craziness to brightened their day.

Chinko no Tsubuyaki
With a title that translates to "The Mutterings of the Penises", Chintsubu is not your average yaoi manga. In here you'll literally find talking penises (with faces!), penis related puns, crack makeout scenes (with talking penises!) and even exorcisms...which all adds up to one of the funniest yaoi manga in ages. This is a manga that is packed to the brim with 100% pure crack (plus a small dose of heartwarming), and everyone knows what smoking that does to you.
Granted, quite a bit of the humour is of the "OMG I can't believe I am actually reading this!" variety but thanks to the shock value of the premise the jokes take a long long time to grow old and when they do, you'll find that you're already too invested in the characters' lives to turn away. Speaking of characters - Ayase is the cute shota, Iwabuchi is the smart stoic with glasses, Kamiya is the tsundere playboy and Toride...well he's in a coma. If they all sound sterotypical it's because they are, but luckily their penis counterparts does offer an extra layer of atypical interaction and personality, mostly for humour but also occassionally revealing the softer side of Kamiya and Iwabuchi. Though Ayase and Toride are the main couple the difficulty in developing a romance between a boy and his sentinent talking penis means that later chapters tend to shift the focus to former enemies Iwabuchi and Kamiya's budding romance.
Artwise, Yamato sensei is at her consistent best, which means cute, bright-eyed, (for some people, too) young-looking ukes and handsome semes. Special credit must go to her penis designs which gets cuter and cuter as the story progress (Kamiya-chinko is probably the only penis in the world that deserve to be called moe).
For those who have an inner child of the naughty little brat variety this is definitely the manga needed to make them happy. For the rest of us who are still naughty little brats through and through this is the rare manga that satisfy both our need for romance and well...our urge to see talking penis doing cute things.

Chintsubu
Both the artwork and plot was brilliant, and the jokes were definitely hilarious! Toride and Ayase was a cute but weird couple, having his lover's spirit in his penis, Ayase definitely had a easy and convenient time. Other than those two characters, we also have two other protagonists, Iwabuchi and Kamiya. Those two had their penises changed, and their penis could read what they were thinking about. Both of them had feelings for each other, and both their penises knew, however, it is hard to get their feelings known. Hilarious obstacles turn up everytime they are going to get intimate, or closer, definitely the funniest manga I've ever read.
It's really touching, Ayase's love for Toride and vice versa. At later chapters, we would get to know Toride's brother, who secretly falls in love with Ayase. Hilarious things unramble from that point onwards!
It is a must-read for everyone who needs a good laugh and it's a good way to relieve stress, too!

Crazy but Brilliant
I stumbled across the summery to this manga several times, and was instantly put off by the ridiculous storyline. Talking penises? It sounded ecchi for the sake of it, and completely insane. Eventually, though, I decided, warily, to give it a try. Best decision I ever made. Yes, the manga is completely barking, it is full of penis puns, and weird situations. It is also the funniest manga I have ever read, and surprisingly engaging and touching.
The main characters are comprised of two "couples" Ayase and Toride, who realise their feelings for each other after an accident, where Toride's spirit is transferred into Ayase's penis, and Kamiya and Iwabuchi, who are polar opposites whose penises are switched and become sentient in the same accident. The story follows the trials and tribulations of the four boys as they try to come to terms with their new situation. The penises (they are referred to as chinkos in the manga) are actually incredibly cute, and have their own personalities that are a reflection of their owners. The artwork, as is expected of Yamato Nase, is lovely, with beautiful character designs. Despite the fact that chinkos appear in almost every frame, the sex scenes aren’t that graphic, don't go any further than masturbation, and succeed in not being crude or crass.
For me, though, the best part of the manga is the growing relationship between Iwabuchi and Kamiya. This development is very skilfully handled, and there are quite a few "awww" moments.
Beautiful artwork, engaging characters, and hilariously funny; I love this manga, and I have read it several times. Don't make the mistake I did and judge it on the silly summary. If you do, you will be missing out on something special.
