It took me until I was halfway through the first chapter to realize that Uka was a guy. His facial expressions and his demeanour were nothing short of feminine. Aside from that confusion, it is a warm and touching story. You can feel their relationship deepen as Uka asks over and over, "are you sure you don't hear anything?"
My favourite is the two-part story between Masariya and Unari. Decidedly harsher than her usual stories, Yumeka uses this to her advantage to strengthen the two boys' bond. "Blue Cat Tunnel" is the most emotionally turbulent, but also the most impactful.
