1st story: Angels exist and Kashii Kiyoharu, grandson of the man who "created" the angel, has been hired to befriend him. His name is Toki. Kashii soon finds out why the scientists need him around. Toki is lonely, but no one wants to get near him unless it's necessary since he eats human flesh. What has Kashii gotten himself into?

2nd story: Everyone expects Tokiwo to go to a good university. However Tokiwo doesn't want to in order to "play it safe". One night there was suddenly an earthquake. The stone he was looking at started to glow and out of his floor comes someone who looks exactly like his childhood friend Jiu. Well there is a difference. This "Jiu" is dressed for combat and has a very large weapon. Just what does the stone have to do with "Jiu" and who gave Tokiwo the stone?

A great story expected of this Mangaka

Another great work from Kotobuki Tarako! I became a fan of this Mangaka after reading Sex pistols and of course, getting used to the style. Unfortunetly there aren't many works availabe or they hardly compare to Sex pistols but this one is a great story expected of this Mangaka.
Like Sex pistols, the story has fantasy and this time science fictional aspects that are easy to believe. Of course, there is some information about the whole clone program that you don't really have to get in order to understand the story.
Mpreg is very rare or hardy believable in most yaoi stories but this Mangaka successes in presenting another acceptable Mpreg story that you will really enjoy.
My only regret is the length of the story which is very short. The ending still manages to satisfy you and the fact that you come to wish for more shows how great and well developed the story is!

From the mangaka who brought you Sex Pistol, Concrete Garden proves to be another engaging read and does not disappoint.

From the very beginning the storyline is extremely intriguing with a dash of sci-fi and a whole lot of suspense. However, some of the reades who do not know too much about the process of cloning may get a little bit confused. Otherwise, the plot is actually relatively simple to follow

The relationship that forms between the two main characters is delicately crafted to the point where you can even forget that this is a fictional work! Despite the work being comparaticely shorter than most other manga volumes, you can track the emotions, status of characters' connections and how it all evolves.

The art style is very unique with clean lines and light shading. I enjoyed reading the the manga immensely as the art was never overly dramatic or exagerrated.

This manga is definitely worth a look if you enjoy sci-fi yaoi, because there aren't that many and most aren't that great! This is definitly one of the exceptions.
