Can Not Stop Reading This Manga
Today would be my 9th time re-reading this manga.
It's a sad yet lovable yaoi that i can't get enough of :)!
I really think they story was amazing and the affection in both Yukimura and Chiaki as to how they felt about life, people around them, and the love for one another was truly breath taking and heart braking.
I can't wait to finish it so i can read it again XD.

Dark & Angsty - the way I like it!
if you're looking for fluff, turn around and go back, because this story aint! Beautifully told, with a lot of angst, darkness and depression.
2 high school find that they both endured insurmountable pains in their childhood and somehow find one another and fall in love. The story is painful and times and touching. The ending is so beautiful, but even then you realize that these two have a long way to go to ever be truly happy. There are some things that can't ever be erased, but you feel they'll get by with what ever happiness they bring to one another.
It's sad and will make you tear up. The story is well paced, telling enough of each boys painful backstory without it making it long winded.
In the end you're you realize that the only one that could make them happy is each other, because these two have endured similiar types of pain. What make this story stand out for me is how each boy deals with the pain. One enjoys it, while the other can't seem to get from away it. Sakaguchi who has endured so much from a mother that never loves him is gentle to Chiaki, who needs pain. It's kind of fitting who these two belong to one another.
Great story and great read. One of my top favorite mangas right now!

it will break you heart, in a very good way
The first time I read this, it was just so heart-breaking in such an odd, endearing way that it has dug itself a very secure spot in my fond memories. There is a great deal of angst, and some of it is perhaps, a little too 'conveniently traumatic' but it is highly unlikely any thoughts of convenience will bother you as you read this piece. The developing bond between the two deeply troubled teenagers is so breathtakingly fragile and wonderful, it is exactly the breath of fresh air in a very very dark place they both desperately needed, and that the reader will want very much to protect for them. Also, one of the greatest aspects of this particular work was the 'epilogue' or tie up. In too many stories (especially BL ^^;) where there are youths with traumatic pasts, the ends are tied up so cleanly that it is jarring in its blatant lack of realism, or really, respect, for the true gravity of such burdens. CUT manages to walk the line with the undeniable staying power of profound hurt as well as the equally undeniable power of hope.
Touko Kawai's art is very pleasing, the characters attractively designed. The sex is, for the characters, as therapeutic in nature as much as it is inherently physical.
A great piece. Let it break your willing heart to pieces and patch it up again. The duck tape and sewing marks only makes the beat sound sweeter.
