Heart-wrenching but cute

This manga is another of the bittersweet ones.
Hirofumi regains his memory (lost in an accident) after two years, this resulting in the loss of the memories of the past two years!
When he finds out that he had a relationship with Daigo, a guy, he's shocked, BUT he finally freaks out when he finds a letter from his old self, pleading him to take care of Daigo.
That's the reason why the whole manga is focused on Hirofumi. His thoughts, his memories, his compromises and his struggles in his new life are well shown. Of course, most of the time, Hirofumi interacts with Daigo, also showing what HE thinks of all that...

All the characters' personalities are impressive but still subtle (even of the minor characters) so the whole story seems well composed. The kisses suffice, the tears are overwhelming, what do you need more? (Well, tissues in that case ;-))

As this story is very inventive and unique, you shall not pass this manga without reading it!

Dear myself was a great read in my opinion. I bought it at a local bookstore one summer because I wasn't old enough to buy real yaoi back then (Three years ago, lol), so I figured this would suffice. And it did far more than that. "Dear Myself" tugged at my heart, and almost brought me to tears. It was a really sad, and touching story that I would recommend buying.
