from BLU:

Unbeknowest to humans, angels walk among us. Save for the occasional annual angelic convention, they are scattered across the globe interacting with humans and their crises. Chihaya and Kagetsuya consistently find themselves in different parts of the world dealing with an array of characters and their hopeless problems.

This seems to be the only source of their worries, until news arrives of a growing legion of fallen angels plagued by the "Black Cancer." What will happen when Chihaya and Kagetsuya are asked to find one of the feared Great Fallen Angels, Lord Seraphim? What is it about Chihaya that lands the Great Fallen Angel right at his doorstep?

I don’t know why but for some reason the concept of hair discrimination reminds me of Ai No Kusabi. To the angels, black hair and black wings was frowned upon. Homosexuality is also a taboo as well. Although, there many angels that viewed Chihaya as an ill omen child, Kagetsuya thinks otherwise. Chihaya and Kagetsuya roled were to go down to earth and observed the human’s lifestyle. Chihaya’s job was to find the positive things about the human while his partner, Kagetsuya has to do the opposite. The story does not really just involve just Chihaya and Kagetsuya but also other characters as well. Such as Chihaya’s foster father who happens to be one of the high ranked angel.
Although, the storyline may sound like it is taken place as a fantasy modern time. It also has SCI-FIC in it.
If I were to compare the anime and the manga, I much rather read the manga than watching the anime. The manga has much more detail than it does in the anime.

Yun Kouga creator of "Loveless" had created this dramatic, epic shonen ai that may leave questions, but bring tears every second. This is declared a must read for anyone who is interested in a sweet fantasy, shonen ai made for those with soft hears and looking for their "angel." Follow this four volume series to the outstanding end in the third volume. You will be captured and stunned when you reach the very end.
