Angsty and Beautiful. I love this one!!!
This has only be scanlated to Vol 2, and I've never been obsessed with a manga as much as I have with this one. The story is very angst filled, and sad. The main character Kurata meets his first HS crush Tozaki years later when there lives cross during a work project. The have a hot one night stand that then leads Tozaki and Kurata through a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
Tozaki is filled with anger and a bit unstable and unsure about Kurata throughout the story. An incident in his past makes him unwilling to trust Kurata. At times he's extremely forceful and rude and because of his past he causes Kurata a lot of emotional pain. Kurata is so in love with Tozaki, but is unsure of Tozaki's feelings towards him. Despite the clashes they have with one another, Kurata still falls deeply in love with hi. I gets to a point where the two have an intense scene where Kurata has had enough of Tozaki's forceful attitude and pushes him away. It leads to Tozaki realizing his mistakes and a romantic confession and steamy reunion that is just beautiful.
This story is not sweet or fluffy. Even though, I think Kurata is a big teddy bear. You want to hold him throughout and make his fears and doubts about Tozaki go away. Tozaki is not the greatest of guys, but he's not the worst either. You root for those two to get on the same page with one another, and when they do, it's extremely sweet and hotttttt!!!
It was licensed at the end of Vol2, unfortunately, and may have to wait awhile before Vol3 is translated by the licensed publisher. But the 2 volumes are great. I highly recommend this story. If you like angsty and emotional stories, you'll love this one!

Junjou isn't the most original or exciting yaoi but it does have a lot going for it. It is a sexy, satisfying read and I'd recommend it to just about any fan.
The plot is simple yet well planned. Flashbacks and further explanations arise at just the right time (before readers get too bored with the humdrum story and the initial seen-'em-before characters, perhaps). The story develops with each chapter into quite a worthwhile yaoi that promises to keep you entertained more than once.
The characters are really the strongest point of this yaoi. They are both 'men-with-careers' whose relationship starts out as a seemingly emotionless sexual encounter that grows to be much more. In places it is quite sweet and tender, but there's more than enough drama to keep the all-important fluff/angst balance in check.
The art sufficiently captures the light-hearted moments well and the rather dramatic climax couldn't have been devised better. The character design is pleasant, with both men looking like... men. Something that I greatly appreciate. However, I found the characters eyes looking odd and 'cross-eyed' most of the time which really irked me.
Overall, this was a nice little series that I'll probably read again in the near future. Personally, I bothered to read this because of its title as I'm rather obsessed with Junjou Romantica at the moment. Can you blame me? ^_^
