Series of stories revolving around dormitory boys in a all-boys catholic school.
v01 summary: 2nd book by now most up-and-coming & drooly young yaoi mangaka. Romance of various couples at residential prestigious Catholic school in a foreign country (perhaps medieval Europe) (Entertain strict Catholic public school. A student, Marius whose mother, a Muslim died is hated and forced to enter this school by his father, a Catholic. He is isolated in the school, too because of prejudice against heretics. He buys a handmade drug from Ginger, an one-year older delinquent student. a 2-years younger student, Uran sees it. Drug problem emerges and they launch a manhunt in the school. Uran accuses Marius but for poor Marius who is shocked by his father's remarriage, only Ginger can comfort him / In order to punish wrongful acts, a prodigal son of rich family, Emilio is put into this school by his father. Wong, a chinese student who was sold by his mother to Emilio's family also enters the school and helps to relieve Emilio's sexual desire. But Wong is loved by a younger & insomniac student, Shio who has stigmata. People have thought Shio has horrible power and they have made a wide circle around him. A housemaster who cautioned Shio gets injured and Wong is also involved. It makes Shio decide not to pay frequent visits to Wong...). Nekota has been very good at drawing since she was a djska, so I expected so much her 2nd commercial book . And the atmosphere of this book is so awesome! Using many screen tone, the art with shade and shadow is so beautiful! She describes well the venerable & grave mood of the venerable & prestigious Catholic school by wonderful art of "building, costumes,,etc". Her enhancing contrast and finding a good schema are perfect. But this is school story and many characters appear (heroes change by each episode), so the story often ends before the story enters critical stage and it's a little shame. So you may be disappointed to read the first story (may think Nekota just only want to draw the boys with costume). But 2nd & longest episode about a delinquent student, Emilio who seduces a priest and Emilio's servant, Wong and a stigmatist, Shio is very interesting!! Shio is so cute. The speedy tempo of Nekota's comical scene is also great. The scene that nihilistic Wong can't control his sexual urges to Shio is so sexy! Nekota issued only 2 commercial books, so mechanism of cases is not very understandable or wimpy but Nekota's very attractive characters outweigh some faults. Shio and Wong become a happy couple and it gives me full satisfaction. But I'm very curious about the result of the triangle relationship of 1st ep and Emilio and the priest! Serialization has continued, so I'm looking forward to 2nd volume!
v02 summary: The sequel of the very popular series of residential Catholic school in the Middle Ages (The sequel of forbidden romance between Emilio, a son of rich blue blood family and the priest / Memory of Guerlain who spends with his senior & strangest student, Basil who are going to graduate after a few glorious days at same room / Long story accounts for approximately half of this book. Launcelot, a son of the Merediths, Europe's top well-heeled family and his servant, Etta who is permitted to enter school together have become a couple through a lot of hardships). Every episode of 2nd volume is well worth reading. At postscript of 1 st volume, Nekota regretted that she did not write enough sex scenes, so her revenge may be achieved. Nekota wrote the sequel of Emilio and the priest because Kazuma Kodaka requested her! I'd like to express my big gratitude for Kodaka. The scene Emilio passes the priest is so painful! But I'm very satisfied with this ending! (I'm unhappy with the nihilistic ending of 1st volume)! Emilio was always scolded by Wong like a spoiled child but in this episode he is very cool and grown-up. I prefer cool Emilio of this volume. The story of Basil and Guerlain is a little nihilistic. I can enjoy it because it is very short sketch. Nekota uses very pretty properties effectively in this episode. About last long story, I'm so moved!! Etta is sooooooooooo lovely (Especially his smile hiding tears is so touching. I can understand why Launcelot can't help loving him). Headstrong Launcelot and Emilio who teases him are so hilarious. Wong is cool & fascinating as 1st volume. I don't understand the attraction of Shio but he seldom appears in this volume, so there is no problem for me!
