A great storyline full of misterious characters. But it's not the ordinary "everyone knew already who you really are" stuff. You have to read it, because you want to know their true selves and true intentions and what will happen to them. If you like sketchy style you will also like Koujitsusei no Tobira!

This premise, dare I say, is worthy of comparison to an episode of say, Alias (the american tv series, starring Jennifer Garner).
I think this is the first time I've read a suspense-yaoi and it's surprisingly well-done! It felt like a drawn out movie where you get to wonder about the actions of the characters and try to come to a conclusion about their motives... until the final scene where all is revealed. SHOOWA really did a great job in the writing and pacing. This could easily pass off as the storyboard for a bl-thriller movie XD
That said, I think the sketchiness of the art, while it didn't put me off, didn't really endear me in any way either. I guess I'm a sucker for smooth lines and black inking. Then again, it is amazing that despite the art, it didn't detract anything from the story at all, which held me in its grip. Which is why I really can't wait for dp scans to complete the volume and move on to its sequel!
