Two long series of students (an art school student recovers his human feeling by his senior student - tremendous tragedy but this story continues now, not complete / a high school student sympathizes with his classmate who just lost his lover) with unique atmosphere. The story of two: (First: Tooru Shinomiya is a student of art school and begins to work as a nude model of Satoshi Matsuoka who is also a senior photograph student of same school. Heterosexual Tooru keeps to refuse the temptation of homosexual Matsuoka but finally accepts by money because Tooru does not love or respect himself because of lack of the love by his parents. After learning homosexual sex, Tooru begins to prostitution without sense of guilt. On the other hand with Matsuoka, Tooru feels in comfort and enjoys meals cooked by Matsuoka though Matsuoka continues to buy the sex with Tooru by money. Tooru knows he really loves Matsuoka but it's too late... /Second: Akihiro Nonaka comes out his homosexual preference to his best friend & classmate, Kai. Nonaka feels tired to hide it. Their friendship does not change by it but Kai has interest in homosexual sex and Nonaka uses it and makes love because he gets depressed by the separation with his lover, an office worker who will work abroad. Kai says he will substitute for Nonaka's lover. They happen to become couple by the easy reaction of Nonaka's separation, so both of them lack enough confidence of being loved each other. They have a quarrel because Kai breaks the letter from Nonaka's old lover...). The author's second book and the first as yaoi book. The author's art is very cool, modern, stylish, boyish, natural, sensitive, sober, slow, philosophical! and has unique & silent atmosphere/mood. If you like the art of "Masumi Moriwaki","Yumi Tada", you will definitely love Kano, too! Kano's stories are also very natural (not too much exaggerated and there is little PWP & hardcore inclination/desire) and ennui, poetic and philosophical like modern independent films, so I really could enjoy this book very much. First story was issued as her djs, so the author could write/issue such sober but dramatic story!! I expect non-yaoi readers can enjoy reading this as well as her first book, "Are you enemy?" from Shinshokan. Kano may be a rookie of great promise in recent yaoi manga world!!
